Wink ( from Debugmode ) was my default screen capture tool for a very long time . As , it is 100% freeware and easy-to-use . But , since when I have became more serious about screen capturing and recording , I switched to SnagIt . After having a trail, I simply purchased it ( SnagIt 8 ) because of its powerful capabilities .
But , now I have found another very Powerful Screen Capture and recording Tool : Jing . Jing is also from TechSmith , the owner of SnagIt . Let me tell you some cool features of Jing .

- To take the screen shot , the process is very simple , just select the area on your desktopand select the option !
You can also opt for Video too !
- Now you can edit the content . You can insert Text , Arrows etc. and save the image .
- You are ready to share it with other . You can try TechSmith's Screencast.com or even , can upload directly to your flickr account !
Videos created with Jing are Flash SWF movies , that can also be embedded in web pages easily . You can see the FTP option in the screenshot ( above ) , hence you can upload it to your FTP account also .

Now , the most attractive feature of Jing . It is FREE !!!
As , Jing is in Project Period ( Beta ) , hence is offered free . But , in future you may be asked to pay for it . Well , it deserves to be paid , just like the SnagIt .
