Alex Faaborg, the principal designer on Firefox at Mozilla, has posted conceptual mock-ups for the Home tab and new tab. These designs show up the future layout of the two important parts of your Firefox window. Here is the mock-up of Home tab:

I have tried the latest nightly build but this is not present yet. Some users are reporting that Firefox is planning a huge Overhaul of their New tab Page as evident from the UX nightly update.
