Google has released updated version of its browser toolbar add-on, Google Toolbar, for Internet Explorer. The newer version, Google Toolbar 7, has got instant search feature.
Toolbar Instant
Google calls the instant search feature of Google Toolbar as "Toolbar Instant". To enable Toolbar Instant, users need to visit Toolbar Options and select the option "Enable Instant for faster searching and browsing.". The Toolbar Instant works only with IE8 and IE9. The instant search shows up search predictions and search results as the users type keywords in the search box.
Users should be aware that Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer communicates with Google servers anonymously. Though, users can turn-off this, which may affect working of some features. To manage your privacy settings, visit the "Privacy" tab of the settings / options window.
