Google +1


Google has just announced +1 buttons, which are supposed to be alternative of Facebook’s Like button. Google says, “it can improve the way your pages appear in Google search. [] Like social search, we use many signals to identify the most useful recommendations, including things like the people you are already connected to through Google (your chat buddies and contacts, for example). Soon we may also incorporate other signals, such as your connections on sites like Twitter, to ensure your recommendations are as relevant as possible []”.

 

 

Start Using +1

 

+1 button in google search

 

To try +1, you need to have a Google profile. If you don’t have it, you can create it here. If you already have a Google profile associated with your Google account, visit google.com, sign in to your Google account, visit this link and click “Join this experiment” button under the “+1 button” section. Now, the +1 buttons should appear on SERP for you. If you don’t see +1 buttons, just wait for few days as Google is rolling out it slowly.
