The Internet Explorer 9 is definitely an improved and attractive version of Microsoft’s browser. IE9 is giving a really tough competition to Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. One important feature of IE9 is Tracking Protection, which ensures additional privacy for the users.
What is Tracking Protection
Tracking Protection is the latest mechanism of IE to offer users a convenient way to block and allow third-party content and sharing information with such sites, and hence opt-out of the tracking using browser cookies and other means. Users can do this by adding tracking protection lists from the organizations they trust. The benefit of this approach over other existing methods is that it works even when such websites do not respect user’s preference.
How to Enable Tracking Protection in IE 9
To start using this feature, go to Settings button > Safety > Tracking Protection, and click the "Enable" button in the opened window. To add or remove sites, click on the "Settings" button.
Users can add some suggested tracking protection lists (TPL) from here.
