Karbonn Mobiles is planning to launch 3G handsets on Google’s Android platform. Karbonn is known for economical handsets in Indian markets. Thus, we can expect a new range of Android smartphones in low price segment – and this will be certainly a great boon for the customers as the telecom operators are about to launch 3G services in India.
Karbonn said about this launch, "We plan to get even more aggressive with fresh initiatives to ramp up our operations and aim to double our sales by the first quarter of the next year. We are extremely upbeat about the Indian market and are planning to launch 3G smartphones on the Android platform shortly.".
Karbonn also launched ten new handsets in the price range of INR 1500 – 5000. Karbonn says about the features of these new mobile phones, "K1414 is a touchscreen phone offering high video quality. Karbonn K25i is a Wi-Fi enabled QWERTY phone. The Karbonn K111, K11 and K514 are multimedia phones, and the Karbonn K550i, K424, K343, K316 are music phones especially designed for the music lovers.".
