Other exciting features of Opera 11 include tab stacking, a new address bar, option to allow Plug-ins only on demand, new mail panel, Extended auto-update for installed extensions and Opera Unite apps, visual mouse gestures etc. Tab stacking lets users drag one tab over another to create a group, and hence helps to organize tabs efficiently.

The new and smart address bar of Opera 11 displays security information of the current website clearly by a badge, and hides complex parameters of the long URL. These parameters are visible only when the user clicks on the address bar.

Enable Plug-ins on Demand Feature in Opera 11

Plug-in on Demand feature allows users to control rendering of page elements. For example, users can set to load flash content only when clicked. To opt for this feature, visit Menu> Settings> Preferences> Content and check the related box. See more details here.
