Latest build of Chromium, the open source browser project behind Google Chrome, has probably got another essential feature: Password Synchronization. Chrome already has sync feature for other browser preferences and personal data like bookmarks, extensions, themes and installed apps. Moreover, users can also opt for a sync passphrase to encrypt their data while synchronization. Chrome uses encryption for saving passwords on Google servers.

Firefox’s upcoming integrated feature Firefox Sync (currently available as an add-on, which requires separate installation) has also capabilities to sync passwords.
Though, at the moment, password sync is not listed in the Set up Sync > Data Types options, so I guess that the password sync has not completely rolled out yet (or it is ON by default, if you provide a sync passphrase).
