Chromium is the open source browser project which empowers Google Chrome and several other browsers. Google Chrome is just a stable and branded version of Chromium with few minor differences like integrated Flash Player and PDF plug-in, Google’s usage statistics and crash tracking, logo etc.
Unfortunately, Chromium does not update to latest release automatically – and users need to update it manually. There is a tiny software created by an independent developer, Chromium Updater, which solves the above problem by scheduled checking and auto-updating the Chromium browser. It automatically checks for the latest available version and installs it on your computer. The Chromium Updater is available only for Windows platform and requires Microsoft .Net 2.0.
