Rediff.com has launched a new gaming platform: Rediff PlayGully. The Rediff PlayGully offers APIs to game developers and hence, enables them to integrate their game to the platform easily. It is Rediff’s another attempt to enter in the huge online and social gaming market. In past, Rediff had a gaming portal: games.rediff.com – which was discontinued later.

Rediff said in a press release:
Introducing games gives yet another context for user engagement and elevates the fun dimension of MyPage. Users now have a reason to spend more time having fun on their MyPage – be it a 5-minute break or enhancing their skills. Most of these games publish some feed to MyPage making them socially engaging as well.
MyPage is Rediff’s social media platform, which is being used for promoting PlayGully. Many other Indian portals are cashing the online social games including Zapak.com, the website owned by Reliance ADAG. The highlighted feature of PlayGully is its support for third party game developers through extended APIs, which enables them to easily integrate their games with the PlayGully.
