Mapplers is an interesting project for creating an atlas using only hand drawn maps. The site displays maps in the same way as the Google Maps with zoom-in and zoom-out features, and the only difference is that the maps are hand drawn.
Mapplers is ongoing project, continuing to collect maps and adding new areas. The site is also looking for the contributors to add new hand drawn maps. If you want to contribute, contact the site owner. Currently, the site has limited maps (and showing map of Brisbane, Australia).
