The Adblock Plus (ABP) is a Firefox Add-on to selectively block images, JavaScripts, embedded media files and other HTML contents on the web pages.
How To Disable Google Analytics?
Follow these steps:
- Install Adblock Plus Add-on from Mozilla AMO. Link.
- Restart the browser to activate the add-on.
- Now move to any website which is using Google Analytics.
- Right click on the ABP’s icon on the toolbar or the status bar, and select the option : “Open blockable items”. Alternatively, you can press the following keys to get this option: CTRL + Shift+ V.
- if the site is using Google Analytics, you will see its URL, google-analytics.com, in the list.

- Right click on this URL, and select the option to block it (see above screenshot).
