As we have already reported that the Uttar Pradesh Government has released the final merit list of BTC (Basic Teaching Course) training selection, the lists are now finally available on all the DIETs. According to the sources, Candidates can check UP BTC merit list from the DIET office of their districts. All selected candidates will be informed by registered post, SMS and phone.
The merit list of BTC will decide the future of lakhs of the candidates applied for the job of primary teachers in the government owned primary schools of Uttar Pradesh state. We are expecting a tough competition here, and higher cut off marks in all categories and districts. Best of luck to all candidates.
Also, we are not sure if the BTC merit list will be released online on the website of SCERT UP. So, in such situation candidates should directly contact to DIETs. If you have any information about cut off marks etc., kindly share it with us.

BTC 2010 selection on the basis of merit is wrong decision by SCERT. It should be on the basis of written examination. If they want to save themself from conduction examination and their responsibilities of selection procedure then it is not fair.
If it is like this then why IAS/IPS/IFS and other civil services are conduction written examination, they can also select IAS/PCS/IPS/IFS etc on the basis of merit only.
Second thing is that during the year 1992-1993 during the Kalyan Govt, the result was very low. Because that time no school was self centre for examination. In that days only a few students used to get more than 60% marks. But since schools are self centre and private college are running classes, now a days no one get less than 60% marks, maximum students gets 70 to 80% marks.
The next thing is that When for IAS/IPS/PCS/IFS examination a third class student can appear for examination after his preparation and get selected then why not in BTC !
It may be that a student due to some reason may not be able to get good marks in 10, 12 and graduation but as soon as he matured he may be more carefull about his future and by getting hard working/practicising/coaching, he may be much intelligent student for clearing the written exam for IAS/PCS/other services.
I have seen so many cases that a III class degree student have passed and become IAS Officer andthroughout Ist class student could not pass. This depend upon the circumstances of life of a student time to time.
I don’t know if a 70% marks and more than that student will be selected for a Primary School and who will be selected for TGT/PGT/MBBS/IT/Engineers and other Ist class services. Will IIIrd class student will be selected for that 1
SO I MEAN TO SAY THAT SELECTION OF BTC SHOULD BE ON THE BASIS OF WRITTEN EXAMINATION (AS EARLIER) NOT ON MERIT LEVEL. AND EVERYONE SHOULD GET CHANCE FOR IT.
So please think about the future of all the student.

As we all know that the marking in up board is less than cbse. I think that there are 90% student, belong to up board and only 10% from cbse board applied for up btc 2010. But due to the marking system.All the cbse students will qualify for the same and the 90% from up board are useless. It is not fare. It is direct insult and cheating. So I mean that the students from up board should raise their voice. There should be a quota system. 90% students should be selected from up board and only 10% seats should be gone to cbse. So think……………………………………….

I agree with Babloo Yadav, selection process should be basis on written test. Everybody to get chance to prove yourself.
I think the result can be found on particular district DIET websites. please have the same & also procure job security .
May I request to U.P. Education Minister for written test of B.T.C. in future. This will be a good chance for U.P. Board Student to enter in B.T.C. because everyone knows the different between percentage of CBSE & UP Board.

jab apne gharwale hi nahin pooch rahe to bahar kaun poochhega,highly unjustified for up board students,they only know how they pass 10th,12th,not a question of percentage.so jago sarkar jago.

SCERT should follow Entrance Exam Process instead of making it through Merit. Merit in 10th,12th and graduation are not measeurment of ability. Everyone is familiar of marking system difference between CBSE & UP Board. This is really disgusting…

BTC examination is nothing.It is just a way to show that admissions are being taken properly.But it is not so.All seats are fixed by the politicians and by other person.I think there must be enterance examination for the BTC.There must not be current system.

My name appears in the BTC Interim Select List of the D.I.E.T. Office, Gorakhpur with a remark that age is between 30-35. Hence, wait for the next orders. I wish to know the details of the case pending in the Court. Also, please inform the next upcoming date, with party(ies) name(s), etc.
If suppose, I am barred from the BTC training, then what was the purpose of filling the BTC form? & Moreover, Isn’t this tremendous humiliation & mental agony for the candidates of age group 30-35? Is this fair enough if candidates like me are not admitted for the training even after the selection?

I think it is fully wrong process for selection of basic teacher by MERIT. If we focus on the merit of most of candidates then we will be find they scored good in matrix and intermediate but did not scored good in graduation or onward , this discontinuity of merit curve show their ineligibility for a basic teacher and their cheating . we know most of survey indicate that 60-70% children belong to poor family they can not study in any convent school but in which may be future C V raman, S bose and j basu like scientist but it is so shame think , all these children are guided by untrained and cheater One side our government is doing promise for good basic education and other side this is giving permission to requite teacher without any eligibility exam . I request all of you to save future talent and india by opposing of this disgusting process.
