The Uttar Pradesh Government has finally released the merit list of BTC, Basic teaching Course, though it is not available on the scertup.org – the official websites. The UP Government has asked candidates to apply for BTC, which is the primary eligibility for the post of teachers in the primary schools of UP. Earlier the government had to recruit B.Ed. qualified candidates as special BTC to fill vacant posts of the teachers in government owned primary schools of the state.
The BTC merit list is now available on the all nodal and zonal offices of UP SCERT, State Council of Educational Research & Training, and should be available on the scertup.org soon. The merit has been prepared considering marks of candidates throughout their academic profile, and other eligibility conditions and quota. We expect a very high cut-off for the UP BTC, and specially in General category only those students can make it to the list who have secured first division through out all examinations.
The BTC admission process was started on 16th May 2010, and the last date for application submission was 8th June 2010. And today, all districs have announced BTC merit list. Sources closed to BTC have not confirmed this news, and we will update this as soon we get more information.

In Utatr pradesh itself there are lots of stream 4m which the students complete their education like you have Hindi, English, Sanskrit n their graduation like B.A, B.Com, Bsc, B.C.A etc so the selection process n Merit should b different for all.
