How To Set Firefox As Default Browser

We love Firefox because of its extensibility, performance and the great Open community behind it. Firefox is my default browser for many years. :) Many users accidentally set other browsers as default browser on their computer, and unfortunately few of them don’t have any clue to get settings back. Follow this simple process to set Firefox as your default browser:

  • Go to Tools > Options, and select Advanced > Generaltab.
  • You will notice the “System Defaults” option in the bottom of the window.
  • Click the “Check Now” button to check if Firefox is your default browser.

  • If Firefox is not your default browser, you can now set it as your default browser by clicking “Yes”.
