Google Translate In Chrome 5

by Arpit Kumar on 8 February 2010

Recently released Google Chrome Dev channel (v5.0.317.2) has many new features including integration of Google Translate service. This feature automatically suggests translation, whenever you visit a web page displayed in a language other than your default language.

Hence, you don’t need to install a separate extension to translate web pages into your native language. :)

This feature is not available in regular (stable) version of Chrome browser yet. To try this, you need to upgrade to Dev channel, which is meant for developers and early adopters.
