Google Wave Extension Gallery

Google recently launched extension gallery for Chrome browser. And now, Google is going to launch a gallery for Google Wave extensions. This gallery will feature extensions for Wave users.

Lifehacker Australia reports that Google recently showed off the gallery preview during a conference.

What are Google Wave extensions?

There are mainly two types of Google Wave extensions:

1. Wave Robots: the automated participants within a wave.
2. Wave Gadgets – the shared applications that run within a wave and to which all participants have access.

Extensions are add-ons which bring new functionality to Wave. You must have noticed few pre-installed extensions like: Yes/No/Maybe gadget, Map gadget etc.
