Embed Tweets On Web pages Easily

by Arpit Kumar on 25 January 2010

Blogger Carter Cole has suggested an easier way to embed tweets (twitter updates) on any webpage easily. This trick is better than taking screenshots and then putting them on your blog or website.

(may not work in RSS readers)

If you want to embed a tweet on any webpage, you can use Carter’s trick easily. All you need to know is the unique id of the tweet. You may know that the every twitter update has a unique identity number, for example the permalink of the above tweet is: http://twitter.com/arpitnext/status/8162377020, and 8162377020 is the unique id number of this tweet. Simply use the following code and replace tid parameter with your tweet’s id:

Get the above code from here. You can also modify the appearance and other options as described in Carter’s post.

Nice trick! :)
