TATA Photon TV – Watch Live TV On Your Computer
TATA Indicom, the leading Indian mobile operator, has introduced a very revolutionary service to its postpaid Photon Plus customers: Tata Photon TV. This service will be available to users of Tata Photon Plus – the high speed mobile broadband internet service.
Photon TV will stream live TV channels directly onto computer using Photon Plus connection. Users need to subscribe channels, and over 40+ channels are already available. Rental charges for each tv channel is proposed as Rs 4 per month with several other subscription options. While using Photon TV, users will be charged for data transfer as per their data plan. So, it will be quite similar to watching a video at YouTube!
This announcement is really exciting for Indian customers. As 3G services are yet to be implemented in India, Photon TV provides another option.
