Invity : Create Groups In Google Wave

by Arpit Kumar on 2 December 2009

One missing feature in Google Wave is easy management of your contacts. You can’t create groups of users! Creating a group of users is certainly an essential feature, and a new Google Wave robot Invity helps you to overcome this problem.

Invity enables users to create groups of selected contacts on Wave. You can create multiple groups, and invite all group members to a wave just by adding Invity to the wave! Hence, no more need to add individual contacts to Wave. This feature is very useful for those who are using Wave for collaboration and group activities (i.e.; for every one!).

How to use Invity?

Add pw-invity@appspot.com to your contacts. Now, you can create a new group from all participants of any wave.

Invity - Google Wave Robot

It saves all current participants of the wave to a group. Once you have created a group using Invity, you can add all members of it to a wave just by adding Invity and selecting that group. Cool! :)
