Konami Code – Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A

Few weeks ago, Googler Matt Cutts shared a cool Easter egg in Google Reader – Ninja Mode. To see this hidden feature of GReader – you need to press keys in the following sequence: up up down down left right left right b a. :)

Actually, this is Konami Code. Konami Code is a cheat code initially used in few Japanese video games to enable full set of features normally attained later in games. This trick is now used in various such games and also on few websites as a hidden feature (i.e.; Easter egg). Google Reader, Facebook, Digg, PHP.net and jquery.com are among those Konami Code enabled websites.

Konami Code on Php.net

Php.net is the official website of the PHP – the server side programming language (this blog runs on PHP!). Visit it – enter Konami Code and press Enter key. Magic! The official PHP logo (on top) changes. :)
