Plane Map is an online game based on Google Maps. This mashup will allow you to fly plane on maps.
It uses Google Maps API and is very simple to play. Start by selecting an airport to takeoff your plane (over 550 airports already listed!) and enjoy the journey. You can control the plane with the mouse wheel for up or down and fly over the maps. You can also select difficulty level, turn on/off help and visit the nearest airports to refuel. ;) There are dials (indicators) for fuel, speed and height (Altimeter, Speedometer, and Fuel gauge).
During your journey, flight information is provided with other details. A cool Google Maps mashup! If you love car racing games (and such games, made for kids!) – you will like Plane Map. Though, the game development is still in earlier alpha stage at the moment and few features don’t work properly.
