Firefox has a cool feature to restore recently closed tabs and windows. Using this feature, you can get back closed tabs and windows.

To try this go to History > Recently Closed Tabs or History > Recently Closed Windows. This option is really useful as it restores tabs and windows from browser cache, and you can have access to all Back and Forward moves.

By default, you can restore only ten recently closed tabs and three windows. To change this value to a desired number try this hack :

• Type about:config in the address bar, and click on the “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button.
• Type browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo in the filter input box.

• Set the value to a desired number.

To change the number for recently closed windows, type browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo in the filter input box.

Hence, you can change the count of recently closed tabs and windows in Firefox.
