Get un-S-U-P-E-R-sized Google Search

by Arpit Kumar on 11 September 2009

Google recently changed its homepage settings and now the search box (and other elements) is bigger in size.  Google says it a S-U-P-E-R-sized search box.

Because it’s your web*, and you are free to customize webpages according to your own wish — here comes a Greasemonkey script to revert these ‘big’ changes. This script, Google Search – un-S-U-P-E-R-sized, brings back the older small (and, gentle!) search box and other page elements on  Google homepage.

Here are the screenshots before and after installing this userscript :

Looks nice! It also works with Image search.

Install this script from hereSee my favorite greasemokey scripts.

Thanks chopeen!! :)

[PS - Because it's your web is tag line of userscripts.com ;) ]

On Twitter, Hank Drury said: Google’s supersized search box : survey says: FAIL. If you use greasemonkey read this to un-supersize http://bit.ly/busQd
