Open Images Directly From Google Image Search Result Page

by Arpit Kumar on 30 August 2009

Google Image Search is the best image search engine on the web. Of course, this tool has many advanced features but the most annoying thing with the Google Image search is that it does n’t lead you to the image directly.  Google Image search redirects you to the webpage containing that image with an embedded frame.

To see the image, you need to click on the “See full size image” link in the frame. :(

And now, here is the powerful solution : DirectPic. DirectPic is a greasemonkey script to open images directly from the search result page. Hence you can open images just by a single click. :)

To use this tiny and time saving tool in Firefox — install DirectPic greasemonkey script (with Greasemonkey add-on).
