According to the reports, India’s mission to moon is in problems again and this time its guiding component is not performing well. This may lead to the fall of the chandrayaan to the surface of moon.

Life of the mission was expected to be two years but it is about to fail in just 7 months after the launch. The ISRO scientists are trying their best to save the mission and for this they have already raised its height (orbit radius) from 100 km to 200 km.

Moreover, Chandrayaan 2 – the next in the series, would be launched in 2012. This mission is planned to send samples back to the Earth.
