Download YouTube As MP4 – Firefox Add-on

by Arpit Kumar on 8 May 2009

I have created a little Firefox add-on “Download YouTube As MP4” which helps you in downloading YouTube videos as MP4 file just by a single mouse click.

Manish posted the last article about a greasemonkey script which adds a ‘Download as MP4′ link below the ‘embed” box. I have used the same script for this Firefox add-on. Hence, greasemonkey add-on is no more required for using this option to direct download the YouTube videos as MP4.

Install this add-on from here and please post your reviews, comments and feedback on the add-on page at Mozilla.

:)

Works for me too ! Good Job Arpit.

Idea : Can you write a Bookmarklet That will fetch your code or script and achieve the same purpose. That way it can be used in IE or chrome

    Anyway Good job !!

    Surprised!

Well, try this : uninstall & restart Firefox. Now, Re-install and restart Firefox again. Hope it will work for you. :)
