Gmail Gadget For Twitter
I love the Gmail tab of my browser. It has everything essential – emails, gtalk, task manager, Links to favorite tools etc. I love chatting with friends using the browser version of gtalk and that is why I haven’t even installed the stand-alone gtalk client. And now, here is cool Gmail gadget for Twitter – which enables me not just to read updates of friends, but also posting and other usual features of a twapp.

TwitterGadget is a nice Gmail gadget, which helps you in using twitter right from your Gmail window.
- It usually sits in the Gmail sidebar. But you can also use the fullsize version (as in the screenshot above). Just click on the sidebar widget for the fullsize view.
- You can read updates of your friends and post your updates.
- Also track @replies, DMs and favorites.
- Set the refreshment period or refresh tweets manually.
- Can insert special symbols.
- Can be added to iGoogle homepage.
- Gadget supports Keyboard shortcuts.
- To post a reply or DM, just click on the user’s twitter ID.
I have tried various other twitter gadgets earlier, but all of them performed very poor. But this one is really fast, customizable and with more features. ![]()
