Carry FeedDemon Cache On USB Drive – Read Anywhere
I love FeedDemon over Google Reader. The reason is very logical – GReader is better only if you have subscribed to few feeds. If your subscription count is large then Greader fails to manage the RSS load. (Read More on ‘Why FeedDemon is better?’)
Only problem with FeedDemon is its desktop based nature. You can’t access your favorite blogs anywhere. Although, it supports synchronization with NewsGator online. So, if you want to access FeedDemon anywhere you may opt for sync with NewsGator.
I would like to suggest another way to read blogs using FeedDemon from anywhere, even without an internet connection. Just carry the feeddemon cache with your USB drive. Hence, you can read your favorite blogs and feeds anywhere.

The best idea would be changing the location of feeddemon cache. Move it to your portable disk and carry it anywhere to read feeds at another computers or laptops. If you update feeddemon at one computer and then moved the cache to another, you can read latest articles on that computer too.
This idea is very useful for the people who don’t have internet connectivity at home (or hostel). Update FeedDemon at cyber cafes, office or college lab and read feeds at home.

Good Article .This Solves a Hassle !
The problem With feeddemon Is Its cache Size is sometimes large and Might be slow on a Small USB.Another Alternative May be to Use GreatNews on a USB drive as it Doesnt require any Installation.Link
i don’t think that above trick will work with collge labs as we do not have admin powers there to instal feedemon.
I will try to use a cyber cafe thanks for tip
@Manish : glad to know that u belong to IEC
@Amit : thanks for tip. I tried a “portable version of FeedDemon” which performed very poor. That’s why I had to discover this method.
GreatNews is Great, but it comes to 5th place for me. My fav RSS readers are : FeedDemon, Google Reader, Scoop (Adobe AIR based), Opera@USB‘s inbuilt rss client (portable – best option for USB)
Thanks for the post. It helped me to find the best sollutions for my troubles.
