Mini Feed Reader – Read RSS feeds in Gmail Window

Mini Feed Reader is a Gmail gadget, by which you can read any RSS feed right in your Gmail window. You can get updates from your favorite blogs, Twitter etc.

Gmail Gadget for RSS

To use this gadget, you need to enable the option “Add any gadget by URL” in the Labs tab of your Gmail settings.

Now, you can find a new tab “gadget” in the setting panel. Add the following URL to get this gadget :

http://gad.getpla.net/feed/reader.xml

After adding this gadget, you can find it on the left navigation panel of your Gmail window.

You can change the default feed URL to your favorite. In case, you want to get updates from many blogs/feeds (it accept only one) merge your favorite RSS feeds and get one single URL.

To Change the default feed URL : move your mouse on the left area of the gadget – you will notice a setting panel now. :)
