AQwikwiki – Get Wikipedia Definitions Easily

AQwikwiki is a new Firefox add-on which makes your life easier by getting  quick reference from Wikipedia.

Developer Molle Ferramenta describes his add-on as below :

You’re reading an article and suddenly an unfamiliar word pops up. Usually you would wiki the word and then return to the original page. Well, no more unnecessary trips – introducing AQwikWiki! Select the word(s), click AQwikWiki, and the first line from Wikipedia will appear right next to the term. Click on the + sign to see more lines.

Suppose, you are reading an article on electronic devices and suddenly an unknown word “MOSFET” appears. Just select the word, make a right click on the selection and choose AQwikwiki.

Now, the first line from Wikipedia will appear (highlighted) right next to the word on the same page.  See the screenshot :

If you want to see more details, click on the expand button. This button will show you more description and a link to related page on Wikipedia.

Hence, AQwikwiki saves your time and helps you in having a better reading.
