How to Mute Someone on Twitter – twalala

I was busy with certain projects last week and hence had little time for Twitter and other social networks. On Twitter, I am following 120+ guys and want to connect with more people, but listening all of them always, is not possible and hence, I was looking for any web based interface or app which can block (or Hide or Mute) relatively less informative friends or can filter the stream for few keywords.

Finally, I got the solution – twalala.

twalala is a web-based Twitter client that allows you to control what you see (and more importantly what you don’t see) in your twitterstream. You can Block (Mute) some friends or can filter the stream by keywords etc.

The best side of twalala is that it doesn’t require any download like desktop apps, and is easier to use than other web-based interfaces. It is in early stages, so you may miss some features ….. but it worths to be the default web interface, when you have limited time.
