Start SMS Blog
SMS blogging is the hottest trend in the cyberworld. People are enjoying posting and reading SMS Blogs. SMS Blogs are actually mass-forwarding of SMSs to subscribers!
Though, I am interested in SMS Blogging right now, but here are some links for SMS-Bitten people!
- SMS GupShup : This is a new start-up which offers FREE Group SMSs. You can create your Own group and can start posting .You can also subscribe to other groups in the same manner, you subscribe to normal weblogs. The only difference is that you will receive updates on your Mobile phone and not in a feed reader. Several groups are working fine there. I have also subscribed many groups of themes like: Fashion & Jokes.
- Vakow : Vakow may also a good choice. It is focused on SMS Blogging ( & not just Group-SMSing). It includes some nice features like Following Friends and TAGS !
Both services are FREE, India Based and in their initial phase. Most of the members there are just forwarding silly jokes. But some of them are working very well.
SMS Blogs are future of blogging. If something like Adsense is avail there, people will be attracted towards it seriously. Currently , Service providers adds their ads with the sent SMSs .
A Nice Idea : If you own a regular blog, then you can start a SMS Blog and SMS there about New posts on your regular blog. Ask readers of your regular blog to Join your SMS blog, So that they can get Alerts about new posts on your regular blog. Is it not cool? Pluggd.in (A weblog dedicated to Indian Start-ups) is doing this on SMS GupShup .
