Today , I got my free CD of Ubuntu : the Linux-based operating system . Though , I was using this on my desktop since last few months , I didn’t have the official CD .
You can always download the Ubuntu from its community website : Ubuntu.com , but downloading 700 MB data is not an easy task . So , I choose for “requesting a free CD” : which is 100% free and you don’t need to pay even the shipping charges ( They will send you it anywhere in the world ……. and not just in US . I got this in India ) .
Hence , now you have a nice option to get Ubuntu CD for free . Just get this and try Ubuntu !

Hi Arpit. I got the CD send by Manish and load the open office. I am still using MS office as I need to be “open” to Open Office.BR/BR/I thank you and Manish (the guy has done a wonderful job!) for this.

If you wish to purchase a CD, you can search google for it. Many Indian distributors sell Ubuntu & other OS CDs @ nominal prices.
